Splash Video, a social media agency, wanted to make an agency culture video to promote via social (natch). In a brainstorm, they identified their key attributes: creative problem solvers, scrappy, underdogs, risk-takers, tech-savvy, young and geeky. This was the result. Except for pros Ray Payne (DP and Editor), Art Hau (Music Score), Cory Allison (Post Production, Sound Design, Effects) and myself (Writer, Director, Producer), everyone, including cast and crew, were strictly amateurs, In fact the crew members were social media specialists at Splash, most of whom had never been near a real production.
